Sunday night I went in to check on the boys before I went to bed and found Wesley asleep like this. This is not an unusual thing in our house, Wesley is a crazy sleeper and moves constantly in his sleep. I want to get the boys bunk beds but until Wesley can learn to sleep in one place that idea scares me a little. A couple weeks ago, I took Wesley to an ENT because he had a cough that would not go away - it started in January, and after several visits to his regular doctor where I was told it was nothing, just a cough - we got the referral to have it checked out. The ENT told me that children with problems breathing while they sleep, move around a lot to try and find a position where they can breath better. We are trying a couple different things but we will find out more with his follow up visit. It may mean taking out his adenoids (this is my preference because the medication route sucks, trust me, I have been there) but we won't know for a couple more weeks. The ENT wants me to watch him sleep and see if he stops breathing...scary thought for this Mommy.

Doctor visits are not fun. Specialist doctor visits are even worse! Had a friend whose kid got her adenoids out and it solved all (well most) of her problems so hopefully if it comes to it, you'll experience the same. Good luck though.
Sorry for the extra loooong comment.
