Daddy and Nolan

I love taking pictures of Greg dosing with the boys...these were some I took recently of him and Nolan. The third is one that had us laughing - Nolan must have been hungry and decided to try out Dad's nose.

Today was the day we Blessed Nolan in church. His daddy gave him a beautiful blessing. It really was a wonderful day - filled with lots of family. It was good to have Scott and Trina and kids with us again. And it was especially good to have Greg's dad be able to join the blessing circle for the first time.
Above is Nolan
Below is Maxwell on his blessing day.
Below is Wesley on his blessing day.
All of my boys wore the same blessing outfit made by my Mom. She used fabric that she had leftover from making my wedding dress. There is more fabric that can be used for a little girl (if we ever get one) or she has the dress that I was blessed in many years ago.

Wordless Wednesday

He really is a sweet baby.
I found this furry friend peaking out from under the bassinet.

Heart Breaker

My little Valentine/Heart Breaker is 4 weeks old today...
These two are sure to be heart breakers one day but right now they are just silly and really cute.

A Food Addiction

Yes, it is boys (especially Wesley) have an addiction. They are addicted to the Food Network - they love to watch cooking shows. I should have know this was coming when as a baby, I use to joke that Wesley was soothed by the sound of Ina Garten's voice (that is who they are watching by the way). Wesley's favorite shows are Aarti Party, Good Eats (Alton Brown), and Unwrapped - but he will watch any cooking show...though I think he has a small crush on Aarti (and who wouldn't, she has a cute Indian accent). Max just is learning to love the cooking shows and has not picked a favorite yet, though given time I am sure he will find one. It should be said that Greg does not share our addiction...he does not enjoy cooking shows (he will watch competition type shows like Iron Chef) because he says they make him hungry. This is fine, we will watch all we can without him...and DVR the rest to watch when he is not around.

This is Wesley informing me that there is another dead mouse on my patio...he was especially fascinated by the fact that the head had been removed.

Yep I had to close the curtains to keep them from staring at the poor creature.
This is the mighty hunter...and the pictures above are from dead mouse #4. I know that these "gifts" are a sign of affection/love from my cat...but really I could use a little less of this form of affection.
